Making your guests feel welcome and appreciated from the start is essential. So whether you’re hosting a destination wedding or you have guests coming from out of town to attend your local nuptials, a welcome bag is a must. These clever sacks filled with snacks and activity lists are the perfect greeting for those who have traveled to share in your celebration. Include things that will make their stay more comfortable, like bites for late-night cravings, sunscreen for pool-side fun and pain reliever for the morning after, as well as ideas for things to see and do in town. Want to play up your location? Include a regional hot sauce or other tasty treats associated with the area to show pride for your chosen destination. If you choose to make an investment in the bag, there’s a good chance guests will put it to use carrying groceries or beach toys in the future. – The Knot

I think something local to the area would be neat- like including some chocolates/treats from a place nearby and I also love the sunscreen idea to hang out by the pool if the weather’s nice!
